Project Description:
Women@CC is a student organization at the College of Computing which aims to recruit more women into the field of computing. The website was due for a redesign with a fresh color scheme and layout. At the same time, there needed to be an admin panel which easily controls many aspects of the website such as news and event listings, adding/removing faculty and a photo gallery. A wordpress blog was also developed to encourage students to share events or news about computing or otherwise.
The admin panel is currently in development. When finished, the design will look similar to that of the site. Everything is being developed with PHP, some Javascript and Ajax with a MySQL database.
In addition to keeping the website up to date, I also help plan events thrown by the group as well as take pictures for the website and other publicity uses.
